This podcast is for Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants, AA students and anyone hoping to become one. As a CAA, I know how difficult it can be to find guidance that includes our unique point of view. I created Awakened Anesthetist to be the supportive community of CAAs I had needed on my own journey. Every month I feature CAA expanders in what I call my PROCESS interview series and I create wellness episodes that demystify practices you have previously assumed could never work for "someone like you".  Through it all you will discover the power you hold as a CAA to create a life by design rather that default. I know you will find yourself here at Awakened Anesthetist Podcast.

    What's Coming in 2024

    What's Coming in 2024

One of the main themes of my adult life has been learning to release my strangle hold on what I am "meant to do" when it is clear the thing is not meant for me right now. In summary- learning to have some trust and patience! My still small voice (aka my intuition) has been repeating the same message over and over again for years-"nothing meant for you will pass you by." In 2024 I am taking the aligned action to listen to that voice more clearly. This episode is also an invitation to you. An invitation to embark on your own self-discovery, growth, and manifestation journey. What's waiting for you just on the other side?

BTS: 28-year-old Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant makes over $210K ft. Chabely Rodrigez

If you are a CAA or AA student you likely already know this amount of money is common as a full- time CAA. And, if you knew about the profession while in undergrad or earlier it is also likely that you know starting your CAA career in your mid 20s is totally possible. Our profession's ability to make 6 figures this early without going to medical school has always been our "wow" factor, for better or for worse. In this episode you will hear the behind the scenes of one CAA's television debut and how she is using this exact hook to create a wider understanding of what it means to be a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant.

RandyAVA89 ,

Finally!

Thankful to finally have a podcast representing the CAA profession. It’s been quite enjoyable hearing some familiar voices tell the stories of their legislative efforts, and how our profession is expanding. Keep up the good work!

Zombot2000 ,

Amazing!

Mary Jeanne cares about the CAA profession and the well-being of her fellow CAA colleagues. She also cares about prospective students and I love how she uses this podcast to be a guiding light for those who are navigating their way to the CAA profession.

I love the mindfulness exercises and appreciate the process episodes to learn about all the different ways people have become CAAs.

Keep doing what you’re doing! Because it’s amazing!
