    Wake Up and Rest?

    How can you put in effort without proper rest? In order to be awake, alert, and dressed for battle you must be well rested. In this episode we talk about how to spiritually rest and lean on God. God did it, Jesus did, and we should too! We will have to give up worldly things in exchange for Kingdom things. That is hard! It’s not that kingdom things have less value but we have forgotten their value. God allows us to come to Him with all of our questions and requests.     Preparing for battle invites warfare. As we wake up, become alert, and get dressed for battle, the enemy is going to be upset. Trust me, I know. Even when we’re following the game plan and doing our best, there will be moments when we fall. That’s okay—get back up! Do not indulge in the comforts of this world. They are lies from the enemy who hates us. In this episode, we talk about the Israelites, our example, and how certain decisions can invite disaster. But God is rich in mercy and grace!     Get Dressed for Battle We’ve woken up. We’ve become alert. Now it’s time to get dressed. In this episode, we dive into Ephesians 6 and what it truly means to put on the armor of God. The battle is real, but our assignment is clear: stand. Standing isn’t just refusing to quit — it’s continuing to do the last thing God told you to do, even when the pressure rises and the enemy pushes back. We talk about following the Holy Spirit like the Israelites followed the Ark of the Covenant into the Jordan River — into unfamiliar, uncomfortable, even scary places — trusting that God is leading us toward His promises. And with every promise comes opposition. The enemy wants to steal, kill, and destroy, especially when you’re walking in obedience. This episode is about staying ready. Keeping your armor on. Checking your heart, your mind, your faith, and your footing daily. Because this isn’t a one-time fight — it’s a daily walk of surrender, obedience, and spiritual alertness. But here’s the good news: this is a battle Jesus already won. We don’t fight for victory; we stand in victory. We stay awake. We rehearse the truth. We remember who God is, who we are, and who the enemy is. And we keep standing.
