    Welcome to the very first episode of the Awk Hiya luv podcast, we hope that you enjoyed the trailer we launched last week and a big thank you to everyone who has listened in and followed th podcast so far. In this episode Sharon introduces you to two members of the podcast group. Joan Mercer: Education manager at the Shankill Women's Centre shares how she got involved with the work and what motivates her to keep at it. Sharon also speaks to Kirsty who shares a little about how she connected with the centre and the podcast group. The impact of the work at the Shankill Women' s centre comes through loud and clear with the stories Joan and Kirsty share.
