    When Life is Lifing

There’s a phrase I keep hearing lately: “life is lifing.” It’s the perfect way to describe those seasons when responsibilities pile up, and you feel like you’re running on a treadmill you never meant to step on. I’ve felt that way recently. And in the middle of it, I reminded myself that I am in this world, but I am not of it. Jesus never promised to remove the chaos. In fact, in John 17:15, He prayed, “I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.” He didn’t ask for the “lifing” to stop. Instead, He asked for our protection.    And He invites us – in the mix of it all – to come to Him for true rest so we can live in this world and still influence it for good. As you reflect on this, remember these words: “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (ESV)  This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful. Share today’s message, and follow us @bluestoblessings on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. So today, find true rest in Him. Be Reflective: Where do you feel the “lifing” most intensely right now, and how might Jesus be inviting you to rest in Him? In what ways might the noise of the world be dulling your spiritual influence or dimming your light? What simple shift – in rhythm, mindset, or prayer – could help you stay grounded in Christ while still showing up for the world around you? Be Prayerful: Heavenly Father, when life feels fast and heavy, draw me back to Your steady presence. Remind me, Father, that I am in this world but not of it, and keep me from becoming so consumed that I miss the chance to reflect Your goodness. Amen. Be Fed:  Isaiah 55:1-3; Matthew 11:29; John 7:37 ✨ Subscribe & Review Join me for a sacred pause with B Moments. What Truly Defiles You

Many of us will gather with friends and family this Memorial Day weekend, reflecting on the sacrifices of those who came before us while enjoying the warmth of fellowship and good food. It’s easy to worry about overindulging—the extra dessert, the second helping—but Jesus reminds us in Mark 7:15: “It’s not what goes into your body that defiles you; you are defiled by what comes from your heart.” This weekend, let’s focus not on restriction, but on the abundance of grace we extend to others. Let’s be mindful of the words we speak, the kindness we show, and the love we share. Because what truly defiles us is not what we consume, but what we pour into the lives of others. So this holiday weekend, celebrate freely—with gratitude, grace, and goodness. As you reflect on this, remember these words: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” Proverbs 4:23  This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful. Share today’s message, and follow us @bluestoblessings on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. So today, enjoy! Be Reflective: What words and actions can you offer this weekend to reflect the goodness of your heart? Be Prayerful: Heavenly Father, thank you for this weekend of remembrance, rest, and fellowship. Help me to speak life, show kindness, and reflect Your love in every conversation and interaction. Amen. Be Fed:  Psalm 139:23-24; Matthew 12:34-35; Luke 6:45 ✨ Subscribe & Review Join me for a sacred pause with B Moments. You're Not There Yet

There are seasons when you know God has spoken a promise over your life… yet you’re still standing somewhere between “what He said” and “what you see.” That in‑between place can stir up doubt and insecurity. But this is exactly where a child‑like faith becomes powerful. Not naïve, not uninformed — but pure, uncluttered trust. The kind of faith that believes God simply because He is God. After all we’ve lived through — disappointment, injustice, unanswered questions — choosing that kind of faith is one of the boldest things we can do. And on this Pentecost Sunday, we remember why boldness is even possible. The Holy Spirit didn’t come so we could celebrate Easter once a year — He came so resurrection power could shape our everyday lives, even when we’re not there yet. As you reflect on this, remember these words: “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Tim. 1:7 (ESV)  This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful. Share today’s message, and follow us @bluestoblessings on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. So today, embrace your journey. Be Reflective: Where in your life do you feel in between – standing between God’s promise and its fulfillment? What would it look like to practice a simple, child-like trust in that very place? How might the Holy Spirit be inviting you to live with quiet boldness, even before everything comes together? Be Prayerful: Heavenly Father, when I find myself in the in-between places, steady my heart. Teach me to trust You with a child-like faith – pure, simple, and honest. Fill me again with the boldness of Your Spirit so I can walk forward in love, even when I’m not there yet. Amen. Be Fed:  John 14:26-27; Acts 2: 1-47; Romans 8:15 ✨ Subscribe & Review Join me for a sacred pause with B Moments. All Is Well, Truly

There are moments in life when something unwanted drops into our path, and our first instinct is to beg God to take it away. We assume the only good outcome is its removal. But so often, the very thing we want gone is the thing God is using to reveal His power, His purpose, and His presence. Think of the man born blind. The disciples were quick to assume his suffering was someone’s fault — his or his parents’. But Jesus made it clear: this wasn’t about blame. What looked like a problem was actually a platform for God’s glory. Sometimes our assumptions about our hardships are miles away from what God is actually doing. When you take refuge in Him — not just turn to Him, but rest in Him — you begin to see the light in His light. As you reflect on this, remember these words: “For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.” Psalm 36:9 ESV This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful. Share today’s message, and follow us @bluestoblessings on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. So today, take refuge in Him! Be Reflective: Where in your life are you asking God to remove something, and how might He be inviting you to see it differently? What assumptions have you made about a difficult situation that may not reflect what God is actually doing? How might taking refuge in God – not just turning to Him – shift the way you see this season? Be Prayerful: Heavenly Father, when I face what I do not want and cannot understand, steady my heart in Your presence. Help me to trust that You are working in ways far greater than what I can see. Teach me to take sincere refuge in You…to rest in Your light, and to trust that Your power is at work in every part of my story. Amen.
