The host breaks down such fun and interesting spooky stories, with first-person accounts and historical context. A fun listen, and so glad season 2 came out in time for spooky season!!

Sound design is excellent. Structure is great. Topic, of course, (for us weirdos) is excellent. I am very picky about podcasts, especially when concerning the subject of the “unexplained, or supernatural”. I love listening to content of these subjects, but there is a very fine line between sharing the information, the art, the shared humanity amongst the stories, and exploitation of trauma. This podcast recognizes bias of past, while presenting an alternate view from the present. This includes many varied present interpretations involving the sacred narratives of the minorities involved, and the implications of human involvement of sensitive spaces/areas. So far I like this podcast, and I eagerly await more episodes. That being said, maybe some more in-depth exploration of the humanity involved of these stories should be warranted. You have done a great job showing the views of non-colonist people and that is important and desperately NEEDS to continue. I often think about ghost stories and realize most of those stories are about those who are unheard. I believe there are so many ghosts in our airwaves, tv screens, social media apps, and people surrounding us on a daily basis that are unseen, unheard, and misunderstood. Perhaps, if we can understand our ghosts, maybe we can understand ourselves, and by extension, each other. Just a thought that has been spurred by your podcast, please continue, you are doing great work.
