Curiosity | Classic House | Episode 008

This one’s a big classic house throwback from 2018 and the Curiosity 17 hour festival in Hull. This was a big annual event run by The Old School House every year and always had some big names on the bill. I played this set to a packed out courtyard with a bouncing crowd. One of my favourite ever gigs this one so thought I ought to share it through the Podcast channel. Featuring some classics from N-Joi, Alison Limerick, Todd Terry and loads more. This isn’t a live recording or an exact recreation of the set I played at The Electric Garden Party at The Old School House on August bank holiday, but it features most of the tunes in the playlist I prepared for the event. It’s got some old school vocals given a refresh, alongside some upfront new house before getting a bit on the deeper and techy side, building up to a big piano finish.
