Backstage With Mothership Solid Rock Radio

Newcomers to the scene, Stars Will Fall have taken off running to spread the gospel through heavy rock. They have two singles, Anxiety and Promises that are already moving up the Christian radio charts and they have just joined the Resurrection Records label.

The guest this week is Kevin Schlereth, who is the President of the nonprofit that runs Audiofeed Festival. The four day festival will be on July 4-7th this year in Urbana Illinois.  If you want to know more about the festival’s heart and beginnings and what to expect this year.

Mad at the World is a Christian band formed in 1987 in Southern California by brothers Roger and Randy Rose. They came back on the scene a few years ago with their album, Hope. They are currently coming to the end of their Kickstarter for the new album entitled Love and Despair. It’s the second installment of a Mad at the World trilogy they have in the works. Be sure to tune in to hear their story and how they have evolved musically since their beginnings.

Monica Soe of TheoTerran is the guest this week. She gives the backstory to everything TheoTerran, and fills us in on the new song released on March 15th, called Virus. In a very special last segment Jake Adams, one of the creators and loremasters of the land of Theo Terra will join Monica and I to give his insights into it’s this fantasy, Viking, CyberPunk, Hunger Games like allegory that is being used to reach people for the gospel.

The guest this week is Nick Detty of Wolves at the Gate. We discuss their latest release, Lost in Translation, which is a cover album of some of the bands favorite songs. We talk about the pros and cons of covering general market tunes, tour stories, and in general, catching up with the band and each other.
