    In today's episode, we wax poetic(ish) about a simpler time when professional wrestling was king and kayfab was still a thing (sort of).  We discuss the events that led up to the WWF/WCW rivalry as well as the origins of our pro wrestling fandom and how it went from being a guilty pleasure to entering the zeitgeist of pop culture.

    Episode VII: The only thing a Prevent Defense prevents is your team winning.

    The World Cup Final is set!  We discus that and some dumb stuff Alexi Lalas said (doesn't narrow it down, I know).  We also talk about sports gambling, golfers losing their minds because they don't know the rules, and narcissistic team owners, sorry, owners of teams that display the behavior of a narcissist.

    Episode VI: OH NO! We Suck Again!

    The U.S. is no longer in the World Cup, but, hey, did we really expect anything different?  We also discuss the Rockies.  More accurately, we share the reasons we do not pay as close attention to them as we used to (Spoilers: it's ownership).  We also touch on the NCAA football story that just.  Won't.  Die.  And, no, it has nothing to do with Colorado.

    Episode 5: WE BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

    Backyard Bleachers is at full strength, but they still...  Today we discuss a number of topics.  From Phil Mickelson displaying the behavior of a sex pest (adding to is extensive list of faults), to NBA and NHL free agency, re trades, to the World Cup and the absolute dumbest rule in all of sport.  Also, LeBron a Nugget?!?!

    Corey is on vacay, so Chris is flying solo.  Today is a quick hitter to get up to date on the sports events.  The NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Final, and return of Mike Babcock are covered.

    Episode III: Didn't we just leave this party?

    Our hosts give a postmortem on the Avs getting unceremoniously bounced from the Stanley Cup Playoffs by the VGK.  We discus went wrong and where they go from here.  Basically, it's the same as episode  2, just sub the Avs for the Nuggets.

    Episode II: Attack of the Wolves

    We discuss the end of the Nuggets season and where they go from here.  In happy news, the Avs are still rolling, so YAY.  Also, one of the hosts drops one of my core principles he lives by.  Listen till the end.
