BAD stands for Biomimetic Aesthetic Dentistry, a collective launched by Drs Maheer Shah, Bill Gergis & Timothy Maxwell in Australia. These 3 dentists were early adopters of the principles of biomimetic dentistry, a new phase in restorative dentistry which aims to rebuild teeth the way nature biomechanically designed the tooth to function. BAD currently offers two training courses for young dentists to implement these new techniques and methods in their daily practice.     This episode features our first BAD guest Dr Aditya Sawant, after our first Brisbane Indirect hands-on course. Dr Adi works out of Ballarat and is in his second year out, with a special interest in adhesive ceramic work, implants and full mouth rehabilitation. This was Adi's first time lecturing and teaching with BAD. We recap the Brissy course, Tim's stomach bug and the BAD vs RECON beef. We get into common questions about co-curing restorations and the correct technique with 2 vs 3 bottle systems.
