The Babulator ,

An All~Star Podcast Duo!

Rebecca Lobo and Steve Rushin entered the world of podcasts a few years ago and I’ve been a fan since Show #1. I was initially drawn to it because Rebecca has been an icon to me since her amazing days at UCONN WBB (Husky Fan Forever even though I’m from NYC and live in NJ). I also worked behind the scenes in national sports radio for many years and know what it takes to connect with listeners- and Rebecca and Steve definitely have “it.”

Aside from the obvious (both being tall and working in sports journalism), they’re also the perfect complement to each other (as most happy couples are). Rebecca is the more organized, detail-driven planner of the duo, while Steve is happy to complete tasks as long as he knows exactly what to do (pick someone up at school, drive someone to basketball practice, etc.). However, it’s best if Rebecca does the grocery shopping (once you start listening, you’ll understand that comment). But seriously - their show is true to life, entertaining, and a relaxing companion as you’re driving in your car , walking/running, or waking up at 2am in need of some soothing entertainment. I’ve enjoyed the show at all hours of the day and night and can truthfully say Ball and Chain is my favorite podcast.

Lol

I’m laughing out loud with Rebecca and Steve with each episode! It’s amazing the continual connections they make throughout each show. So smart and so funny!

And it’s making me lighten up about all the ways that my husband and I get on each other’s nerves. Thanks Steve and Rebecca!
