    From Hell by Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell

    In 1989 after notable releases of Watchmen, The Killing Joke, and wrapping up V for Vendetta , one of the great comic book writers of all time Alan Moore sets to tell another gripping tale based on the Whitechapel murderers during the 1800s around the question: Who is Jack the Ripper? With illustrations of talented Eddie Campbell, this Eisner Winning graphic novel explores circumstances around the time period of when these tragedies occurred, who, or whom could have been involved in the crimes, and an idea of what the world was like in East End of London. Every angle, motive and perspective is explored by a core cast of characters. Alan Moore himself thoroughly researched the historical manuscripts with notes of the Victorian Era, which are included in the collected editions. It is a stunning tale that is recommended for fans of true crime, horror, historical fiction, and fans of this creative team to truly appreciate all that From Hell has to offer. The graphic novel can be read in the hardcover Master Edition with full colors or the black/white tradition paperback copies as well.

    Fantastic Four: Behold Galactus

    Blockbuster summer of 2025 happened! Fantastic Four and Superman returned to the theater! It was amazing to see these both of these iconic comic book characters back on the big screen. During this podcast we wanted to reflect on our thoughts about the new Fantastic Four movie and talk about the original 1966 three-issue comic book story, The Galactus Trilogy, that appeared in Fantastic Four #48–50. Even though this story has several adaptations why is it still considered one of the most memorable comic book stories that Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created of all time. Teamed up with his cyborg partner John Colby, the two agents deal with everything from missing health inspectors, saving Poyo the chicken fighting champion, investigating a new mysterious chicken substitute, fighting vampires, a chicken smuggling ring, and so much more. This series filled with humor, mystery, action and recommended for fans looking to dig into a new buddy cop style series that is refreshing while still doing great character development and brilliant storytelling.
