Enjoyable and educational
I learn so much from these two hosts and their guests! They banter for a while, and then talk about a book. I feel like I’m hanging out with training-geek friends. I get so interested in the books they cover, that I usually end up buying it.
It’s a treat to hear the authors chatting with “my buddies”! They are covering important books that every dog owner should at least be aware of.
One other call out: one segment of the show is how to apply the info in the book to our own dogs.
Loved the concept and the first episode! Can’t wait for more!!
Great potential, weak execution
The first episode I listened to was rough. The hosts spent the first 8 minutes talking about fixing a drain. Lordt. The hosts aren’t celebrities so why would I care about their home repairs?
Then they reviewed the book for another 30 minutes BEFORE interviewing the author.
I love the idea of this podcast and that a dog trainer hosts, AND YET..... Listening to a professional journalist conduct an interview with an author is highly recommended.
