Hey Large, first time reviewer long time listener. My buddies and I are headed to New Orleans for a bachelor party in May. None of us have ever been, but we are looking forward to authentic Cajun food, good drinks and good scenery 😜. Any recommendations for our group of 8? PS - shout out to my home dogs (especially the bachelor - Jared) as we are 5 for 5 on standing up in each other’s weddings. Thanks!
The Jersey Sloppy Joe?

Large, whats your opinion on The Jersey Sloppy Joe? As a Jersey guy I dont get it. The Russian dressing and cole slaw feel redundant. Also people freak out over Millburn Deli but im frankly not a fan and certainly dont think it warrants a 30 minute wait for a mediocre sandwich.

Large I found Barstool back in 2019 with Wake Up Barstool. Listening to you and Willie in the morning and I remember googling who Dave Portnoy was. Since then I’m pretty much only listen to Barstool and history podcast.
When are you going to come down to South Louisiana and do a show With Hold the Mayo and visit some local spots that you wouldn’t be able to pronounce

Hey Large! Been a fan since you jumped on Podfathers and have been a Twisted History listener since day 1, so I was pumped to stumble upon this new endeavor.
Love the show and look forward to catching up on all the episodes, so apologies if you’ve discussed previously but I’d love to know if you have any takes on southern BBQ? As a native Central Texan I’m extremely partial to what we have going on down here (brisket, sausage, and German style sides) but would love to hear about any favorite or least favorite BBQ experiences you’ve had. Thanks and keep up the great work!
