Have you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall of a mid 30's happily married couple? Same.
Batir We Go features Joe and Ali Batir as they sit on their couch and discuss the finer things in life: oatmeal raisin cookies, bad tv shows, and hot takes on stupid Olympic Committee rules... among other things. If you found this podcast, we are frankly shocked. #batirwego

Best married content creators!
Love the thoughtfulness in their discussions and how Joe & Ali feed of each other. They both have voices made for podcasting so that’s a plus.
I enjoy their discussions on current events and also how their life experiences are brought to the show. Great show to drive home to from a long day at work! Keep it up!
Has to be good | EDIT: It is good
Disclaimers: 1) I know the Batirs, not extremely well, but well enough to know that this will be worth your time. 2) I have not listened to a single episode yet. When my wife told me that Joe and Ali have a podcast, my first comment was that it has to be good. I look forward to adding this to my podcast rotation and hope that others find this too. You could be thinking, what if you’re wrong and it isn’t good, you haven’t even listened yet? Well, that’s possible, and if so I will come back and edit my review, but I doubt that will be necessary.
EDIT: So I’m 12 episodes in and can say, it is good. I do have a question based on a topic from episode 12, and while I could certainly get your contact info if I tried, I will just leave my question here.
Now, I’m not trying to be controversial on this, don’t have a strong opinion one way or another, but I was curious if you guys would discuss your thoughts on if consuming a human placenta would be considered cannibalism or not? It is not uncommon to hear of someone doing this, and the question came to me during your discussion.
Glad you guys are doing this and hope it has been good for your marriage. Maintaining friends is a challenge with young kids and COVID, and I have to assume it’s not something else with you that has limited your friendships lately.
Batir We Go…into the Unknown
If you thought finding a geologist with a penchant for fishing married to a former Disney radio star was impossible to find, you’re right, it is. It’s super cringy with a side of extravagant. The topics are scripted, but the content discussion swings as wildly as the pendulum would allow. Unlike Generation X, this married team is as reliable and relatable as an aging millennial couple can be. You will not be disappointed!!!
