Battleground

I enjoy how the hosts navigate historical and contemporary events. I’m appreciative of their ability to mix facts and experience into their stories and speculations. I respect their honesty and humility, unafraid to serve a bold-take, yet able to admit some unknowns. I’m from the USA and consider it a great privilege to tune into the show. One question I’ve been wondering, will EU countries ever send bodies into Ukraine like Russia has recruited their own foreign allies? Can hardly be seen (credibly) as an escalation by EU after this long of watching their neighbor get attacked. I bet USA would be impressed with EU and would want to help if EU showed they cared about their neighbor Ukraine.

I look forward to each episode, whether it be WWII, Ukraine, or Gaza because I know I will be informed and challenged. I don’t always agree with every take on current affairs but I can be sure their reasoning is fair and grounded in facts. The WWII series has been fascinating especially on topics this American knew little about: General Slim, the Japanese attempt to invade India, etc. I hope the podcast will go on and on.

Two clowns criticize America because Europe failed to make weapons. Somehow this is all Trumps fault even though he warned Europe that they were not spending 2% of gdp on defense after they agreed to it in NATO. Seems like European problem to me. Again they place on the blame on America and take zero responsibility in Europe, just give excuses about time and socialism being to expensive to have a military in Europe.
