    BBC's Merlin Rewatch: "The Sword in the Stone - Part 2" - S4 Ep13 with Merlin Co-Creator and Writer, Julian Jones

    Today we have a very special guest, Merlin Co-Creator and Writer, Julian Jones. He needs no introduction, but we’ll do one anyway. Born in London, he trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and began working in television in the 1980s as an actor but soon found success as a writer on “Between the Lines”, which was named Best Original Drama Series by the Writers' Guild of Great Britain. He then co-created the show, “Hex” with Lucy Watkins which starred Michael Fassbender and aired on Sky. Next up is why we’re here today, he co-created the BBC show, “Merlin” with Julian Murphy, Jake Mitchie and Johnny Caps. Enjoy! We're not taking a break between this series and series 5, so we'll be uploading the two-part series premiere, next week.

    Today we have a very special guest, Miranda Raison on Ladies of the Lake. She is an actress who is known for playing Jo Portman in five seasons of Spooks and Nellie Davenport in HBO's Warrior. She originated the title role in Howard Brenton's Anne Boleyn at Shakespeare's Globe and played Hermione in Kenneth Branagh's production of The Winter's Tale. Most famously to our audience, she played Isolde in Merlin and just starred in Theatre Royal Bath’s production of Grace Pervades with Ralph Fiennes, directed by Jeremy Herrin and written by David Hare. We’re talking about Series 4, Episode 12 of Merlin. Next week we’ll have Merlin Co-Creator, Julian Jones!
