    Misconceptions About Church - Is Church Necessary?

Today they will respond to the statement, "I don't have to go to church if I'm a Christian." Sometimes people will say they don't have to go to church because they can go out in the woods and be in church. Or maybe they have experienced church hurt and are too mad or too afraid to try a church again.  This podcast can provide a roadmap for you to have a conversation with your friends, neighbors or family who claim to believe in Christ as Savior, but will not love the church that he died for.  No church is perfect, but you can't judge Christ on the failing of the people in His church.     Question - Can I be forgiven completely for my past?

    Send us Fan Mail In this week's podcast, Dan and Scott tackle the topic of forgiveness in response to a question we received.  The question was about a person's past and if they could be forgiven of things they had done, specifically an involvement in paganism. God's forgiveness through Christ is complete. When we repent of our sin and accept Jesus as our Savior, God takes away our sin, as far as the east is from the west. And if you think about, east and west never meet. But who pays for those sins? See, forgiveness can be offered free of charge, but someone has to pay. Jesus paid for our sin on the cross, He suffered the wrath intended for us and "by his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53).
