    E9: Women Listen Up!

    Jacob saw Rachel and instantly fell in love! He didn't act upon his flesh desires, he waiting and talked with her Father. He pursued her and respected her Fathers wishes, and waited 7 years for Rachel. At first it was intended to be just 7 but he was deceived by Laban to marry his first born daughter Leah after Jacob did the work. And in order to marry Rachel, he had to work for Laban another 7 years and Jacob agreed.  Jacob served seven years to get Rachel, but they seemed like only a few days to him because of his love for her (Genesis 29:20).  What!!! Women, and you are settling for Mr. no relationship with God, mr. lazy on the couch playing video games, mr. have to test the waters before marriage kinda men and you have been given bo zo the clown way too many chances after God has been telling you to wait.  The most important goals and desires are worth working and waiting for. God sees who is for you. He knows your heart. Jesus is pursing you! Waiting doesn't make you weird, it makes you confident in your self. Waiting on God, in the end is perfection. And anything God has you wait for is solid.     E8: Living Through Loss

    All kinds of loss is hard, whether it is losing a loved one or yourself. There are many forms of what loss can look like and what it can do in you. And when it seems like your life is loss after loss, how do you ever heal? In this episode we will discuss how to handle loss and how to live through it. Remembering someone you have loved so dearly is a gift and something that we want to always hold onto. The shattered heart of losing someone can place you in bondage and never experience true rest. Your Father God wants to heal your heart, putting a bandaid on each piece that is shattered and holding your heart in his hands. He longs to see you happy again, smiling and enjoying life. With my life being loss after loss I can relate.     E7: Live On Earth As If In Heaven

    We can live on earth but be in Heaven. If you are preoccupied with heavenly things, then Jesus is in control of your life, and you are a citizen of his divine kingdom. If earthly pleasures are your focus, then you're at home in this world.  Philippians 3:19-21 2 Timothy 4:7-8 The Christian life is hard! Yes, I get it! It is fight!     E6: His Power Is Made Perfect In Our Weakness

    Sometimes in our toughest and most challenging times we just beg God to take it all away. But what if the very thing that you have asked God to remove is indeed the very thing he needs you to keep? In fact, sometimes the thorn in your flesh that is so unbearable is the exact thing God needs you to have, so that HIS POWER WILL BE MADE PERFECT IN YOUR WEAKNESS. The very thing God is going to use to draw others to him is the very thing that you carry daily. So, like Paul we can boast in our weaknesses. I know it doesn't feel good, but ask God to show you how to use it for his glory.  In the loss of my mom, I no longer wanted to be here anymore. But God showed up in my pit to meet me right where I was. He taught me why he won't remove my thorn.     E5: "I know it's hard" - Jesus

    "I know it's hard." - Jesus "Why?" - Us "It's harder when man lean on their own understanding." - Jesus Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with ALL YOUR HEART, and do not lean on your own understanding. But in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.  It took JOB 41 chapters to be restored. But in Ch 42 when he leaned on only God, not his friends directions and opinions but God's, he was restored. In Job 42, Job says to the Lord, "My ears heard of you but now my eyes have seen you." Wow! We serve the same God!! Restoration is coming!! Your latter part will be better than your former part. See how God wants to do a new thing (Isaiah 43)? Will you let him?     E4: Do You Feel Separated?

    Feeling Separated?  Do you feel like the call on your life doesn't go hand in hand with your life now and there is a tug of a yearning to desire something new or something else? Actually anything else but where you are now? Maybe you are starting to feel lost, unseen and separated? You are not alone.  There is a yearning going on in this nation and no one is understanding what it really is. It is a cry inside of us for a NEED FOR JESUS. There is a yearning for God inside of us that needs him. It separates us from the world and enters us in union with him.     E3: Fixing Our Eyes On Jesus

    I have found that fixing my eyes on Jesus is the most important and rewarding area of my life. It comes with a deeper union and relationship with my Father, that helps me understand who he truly is and how he desires to lead my life. That no matter when the storm comes he is my anchor.     E2: Finding Peace In Letting God Lead

    This is my journey to finding peace in letting God Lead. Trusting in God's plan for my life has brought me more peace and fulfillment. I was chasing worldly temporary satisfaction that is like a hamster wheel, never content.  It is a daily work in progress but you wake up with peace and you go to bed with peace, no more lack of rest worrying all night long about what was next for my life.   I get it, it's so hard to walk into the unknown. I fought against any other plan but mine until I fully surrendered to him.     E1: Being Still Is Not Always Popular

    Being Still is not always popular but it is important. It is where you learn who God is, who you are, grow in your relationship with him and learn what his vision is for your life.  You hear God's voice clearly here, you learn your purpose here, you heal here, you are in peace here, you love here, you find joy again.  "I was going 90 miles a minute, working multiple jobs, not finishing projects and running on lack of sleep. Everything came to a holt when God had to shake me in different seasons of my life to Be Still. Being still was not always popular to me, but that is where I learned how to be vulnerable at the feet of Jesus. I encourage YOU to answer the call to BE STILL even when it is not popular.
