286 - Celebrating Black Culture with Latasha Morrison and Friends & Learning How to Hope with Dr. Will Gravely

This is an episode full of joy and hope for Black History Month! We have asked a few friends of Be the Bridge to share what they love about Black culture. Their responses remind us of God’s distinct, beautiful, intentional creativity and design. They remind us of the power of perseverance and resilience.

Resilience is connected with another theme we’ve been holding on to at Be the Bridge - hope. So we are also bringing a word of encouragement from one of our board members, Dr. Will Gravely. He gave a message at our Leadership Summit that we had to bring you. So we invite you to listen to the scholar, pastor, strategist, and creative Dr. Will Gravely share HOPE: The Marathon and the Sprint - Spiritual Strategies for Endurance, Effectiveness, and Execution.

Informative, honest and practical

I look forward to listening to each podcast as it drops. Many times I’ve finished listening and thought “this is my favorite episode!”. I love the honest dialogue keeping it real, the highly informative rooted in history and research, and the foundational truth of always being anchored in the Bible. My current role is to lead global healing and unity and DEI for a global church in 30+ countries, all to say that despite my already lean in and education in this space, I’m still constantly learning and relearning for the work I do. I’m also a counselor working in a diverse school and a mom through birth and adoption of jewels of many races and I LOVE your podcast. I think everyone should listen and I recommend it all the time to many global pastors and ministry leaders. Thank you for stewarding it so well!!!

If you’re not listening to anything else, Be The Bridge is the thing you should be listening to! I have enjoyed every minute of this podcast while also being challenged to reframe some of the ways I think about things. Very important work! Thank you to Latasha for doing the work.
