Be the Bridge Podcast with Latasha Morrison

The Be the Bridge Podcast is a resource from the non-profit organization Be the Bridge, which was founded in 2016 by best-selling author and leader in the fight for racial justice, Latasha Morrison. Be the Bridge responds to racial brokenness and systemic injustice in our world and believes understanding can move us toward racial healing, racial equity, and racial unity. This podcast is an extension of our vision to make sure people are no longer conditioned by a racialized society but grounded in truth. This is a resource to help cultivate courageous conversations and equip all to flourish.
Informative, honest and practical

I look forward to listening to each podcast as it drops. Many times I’ve finished listening and thought “this is my favorite episode!”. I love the honest dialogue keeping it real, the highly informative rooted in history and research, and the foundational truth of always being anchored in the Bible. My current role is to lead global healing and unity and DEI for a global church in 30+ countries, all to say that despite my already lean in and education in this space, I’m still constantly learning and relearning for the work I do. I’m also a counselor working in a diverse school and a mom through birth and adoption of jewels of many races and I LOVE your podcast. I think everyone should listen and I recommend it all the time to many global pastors and ministry leaders. Thank you for stewarding it so well!!!

If you’re not listening to anything else, Be The Bridge is the thing you should be listening to! I have enjoyed every minute of this podcast while also being challenged to reframe some of the ways I think about things. Very important work! Thank you to Latasha for doing the work.

LaTasha is a joy to listen to. She is obviously following the call that God has put on her life. She has so much experience and wisdom to share and I’ve learned so much from the Be the Bridge organization and this podcast specifically.
Valuable learning

I learn a great deal, culturally, spiritually, and intellectually, whenever I listen to Be the Bridge. As a white woman on a continuing journey of learning to work toward racial equity and reconciliation, I still have much to learn and am so grateful for the wise voices I can sit under through this podcast. May the Lord bless you all.
Mixed Feelings

While I am here for the message and content, the poor editing and length of episodes are turning me off.
Thanks for talking about adoption

But just one suggestion— get in touch with Angela Tucker and talk with her too. She’s a transracial adoptee who is also an adoption professional.
Rooted in Biblical truth!

Thank you for these conversations that focus on the Gospel-centered work of reconciliation! As a white person, I have learned so much from listening with an open heart over the past year. Those who have ears to hear will gain much godly wisdom! Christ calls us to humble ourselves and repent of the ways we have individually and corporately hurt others—not to deny or get defensive. If you listen with humility and a genuine desire to learn, you will be equipped to participate in God’s redeeming work of bringing His reconciling Kingdom to earth!

Be the Bridge goes beyond racial healing. It is a safe space to listen, learn, and grow as a person in all areas of your life.
Great Content! + A Production Comment

I cannot overstate how much I have learned from Latasha and the BTB organization. Thank you so much for the incredible content that you pour so much time and energy into creating. Lately the episodes have included superimposed sound effects that are distracting—specifically in the Sam Acho episode I found it difficult to focus on the dialogue because of the intentional background noise. These conversations are so educational and insightful; they can more than hold their own without the added effects of cars driving down a busy street, a bus door opening, etc. Keep up the informative and thoughtful content! So thankful for this resource!
