Sometimes the only way to make something happen is to BE the reason that it does. On this show we talk about the things that we didn't see in our neighborhoods, communities, families, lifestyles, etc and how we are setting the example in every aspect of life to become the model in a positive way, so that the next generation can't say that they never seen it done. With that, we focus on the BEST model ever...Christ!! We know HE can do all things but fail. How are you choosing to BE the Model!!

    On this episode Chloe interviews her cousin Anja Shelton who is the Intramural Sports and Sports Club Coordinator at Austin Peay State University....Anja holds a bachelors degree with two master degrees but it isn't these credentials that Chloe wanted to share with the listeners, it is actually the gems that Anja dropped about her journey that is very inspiring. Anja is the leader that everyone wants to have around them in everyday life and the work field. Her drive to push everyone on her team to be better is sensational and worth hearing.     Most athletes never want to hang up the basic necessities needed to play the sport they love. For 25 year old DJ Quarles hanging up his cleats for dress shoes allowed him to learn that his heart was capable of loving other things just as much as football. A realtor at new home collective in Lexington, Ky, DJ shares the steps he took to get where he is now and also goes the extra mile to motivate those listening on how taking a leap of faith changed his life and could change yours as well...Enjoy his story on how he went from a HS star athlete, to making the UK football team, to realizing that his success would not come from catching footballs in the end zone but how a small conversation while waiting tables walked him right into the position he holds now. Talks about MJ (the goat) and Skylar Diggins-Smith drowning out the noise to talk about the WNBA, NBA wage gap standing up for women boldly.
