    I'm back with my regular guest and co-host Mahfuz. Both being South Asian Bangladeshi's born and bred in Britain. We experienced racism in different forms, mine from being a minority from Surrey and his from authorities within Inner City London. In addition to our own experiences, we take an honest look into the racism in our own communities, the influence of media and the long imprint of colonialism.     In this line up I catch up with my boy Saif after prime minister BoJo’s latest covid 19 announcement. The mathematician highlighted the Covid alert level which is generated by the rate of infection + the number of infections. This scale allows him to calculate whether the NHS would be overwhelmed with Covid 19 patients or not. BJ also emphasised a conditional plan where the lockdown will not be lifted yet there will be no cap on stepping outside. We wonder what this means for those that can’t WFH yet require public transport to commute. We express our growing concern of needing a vaccine. We question everything in his three step plan. The ease of distractions and making conscious shifts to personal development. The negative connotations of seasonal muslims. Unifying the different age groups at Masjid committees. How we claim to love our prophets but true love comes from studying the sunnah. Mahfuz recommends books such as “The Sealed Nectar" and “Shamaa’il Tirmidhi”.     In this line up we travel to NCR, near Chandigarh which is located in Punjab, India. I touch base with my pal Dal (clean shaven) who planned a 17 day trip but 10 weeks on he's still there. The impact covid 19 has had on his taxi firm and the adaptive approach to stay afloat. We discuss the angle India is taking to tackle the pandemic where the country is split into zones with specific rules for each area. He relives the time he was taken into custody. We look into corruption and managing the move between cities in order to quarantine with loved ones.     New 4 part series every Thursday during Ramadan. In this line up I have my boy Juber aka Jubz. We look at how our Ramadan is affected during this lockdown. We discuss how to turn a negative situation in a positive outcome. From pilot mode to jumping in the driver seat, such as leading congregational prayers to study circles (Halaqa). Setting achievable goals, whether to perform good deeds in secret to protect sincerity or publically to inspire others. Utilising technology to adapt to our circumstances, especially masjids (mosques) due to lack of footfall/donations. Running a business and finding a way to survive the pandemic. The negative dietary choices we make culturally and how we suffer whilst in congregation because of it and the fine balance between fasting and fitness. Tune in!

    In this line up we have my cousin Wasim aka Shush. He actually caught the virus but thankfully fought it off. He breaks down the 12 day ordeal and how he got through it thanks to the support of his loved ones. Wasim is from Sweden where there is no lockdown so we compare that to countries that are on lockdown (UK).
