    54) How Can You Overcome Shame and Openly Share Your Past?

Welcome to another episode of Becoming Better! Today, we are diving into a powerful topic that many of us struggle with - feeling shame in sharing where we come from and the things we have done. We often let our past define us and hold us back from fully embracing who we are today.

But the truth is, one encounter with God can change everything. Just like in the story of the blind man in John 9, where Jesus put mud on his eyes and he received his sight, God has the power to transform our lives in an instant. When we surrender to Him and allow Him to work in our hearts, we can experience miracles beyond our wildest imaginations. It's important to remember that there is power in our story.

Our past experiences, mistakes, and triumphs all shape who we are today. When we open up and share our journey with others, we not only free ourselves from the chains of shame but also inspire and encourage those around us.

You and I are going to learn how to embrace our stories, no matter how messy or imperfect they may be. We WILL allow God to work in us and through us, knowing that He CAN take our brokenness and turn it into something beautiful. When we step out in faith and do what God tells us to do, we can experience the transformative power of His love and grace.Join me in this episode as we explore how to let go of shame, embrace our stories, and trust in God's plan for our lives. Together, let's become better and allow God to work miracles in and through us.

    52) But God, What Should I Do?

    52) But God, What Should I Do?

In this episode of "Becoming Better," we dive deep into the importance of seeking God's guidance before making decisions in our lives. As Christians, it can be easy to rely on our own understanding and desires when faced with choices, but the Bible tells us to lean on the Lord and trust in His wisdom.

We also discuss the concept of sanctification, the process of being set apart for holiness. This means making a conscious effort to live a life that is dedicated to God, continually striving to align our actions and thoughts with His will. It requires a commitment to growth and transformation, allowing God to work in us and through us.

By choosing to be committed to sanctification, we are actively choosing to live a life that reflects God's love and grace to those around us. It is a daily decision to prioritize our relationship with Him and to seek His guidance in all that we do.

Join us as we explore the importance of looking to God before making decisions, committing to sanctification, and living a life that is set apart for holiness. Let's embark on this journey together, becoming better and more like Christ each day.

    51) You Get To CHOOSE | Seeking God's Guidance in Decision-Making

    51) You Get To CHOOSE | Seeking God's Guidance in Decision-Making

It's EASY to fall into the trap of compartmentalizing our faith to just Sundays or church events. But we keep it really real over here, and you need to know that true devotion to Christ requires us to live out our faith consistently throughout the week, in every aspect of our lives.

We discuss what it means to have loyalty to Christ and how it should be the driving force behind all of our decisions and actions. Choosing God means aligning our priorities, values, and goals with His will for our lives. It means surrendering our own desires and submitting to His plan for us.

For all my over thinkers - we unpack fear of making the wrong choices and how it can hold us back from fully committing to following God. It is natural to feel insecure or uncertain about the path we should take, but we must trust in God's guidance and lean on His wisdom to lead us in the right direction. We touch on how you can always make the right choice in alignment with God's will. By staying grounded in prayer, scripture, and community with other believers, we can ensure that our decisions are rooted in faith and obedience to God.

Join us as we explore the challenges and blessings of choosing God in all things and learn how to live a life of faith that extends far beyond Sunday worship. Let's become better together by putting our trust and loyalty in Christ in every aspect of our lives.

An on-time God

I recently just went through a divorce last year and I’ve been in a pretty dark place found myself with God through all of it and then kind of slip back. Lately it’s just been a really tough and hard storm to walk through and sometimes very dark. You walk through tragedy, loss disappointment, and betrayal. A lot of times I’m in awe of things, the Lord talks through you to say to us because literally I’ll be thinking the same thing and you’ll say it and my mouth literally drops open, literally goosebumps all over my body. I’ve learned a lot and I have notes in my phone from episodes thank you for being the best podcast Christian Bestie. I pray God blesses you exceedingly and abundantly. God is blessed you with a gift thank you for being here to help me walk through the tough journeys in my life. I want to be so on fire for God and go to conferences and anything I can do to get myself back to where I need to be with God. I’m so thankful I found your podcast.❤️🥰

Found your reel about unattached moms

Hope I just started listening to your podcast after I stumbled on a reel of you talking about your mom not being in your life. I’ve never felt like someone just heard and knew me until your podcast. Lately I started sharing more about my mom issues and I think a lot of people don’t get how it feels to have a living mom you have to mourn. I will keep listening to you and feel like I get a lot of personal development from you. Thank you for being honest and sharing the hard topics no one really talks about.
