    Ep. 6 — Anyway, Where Was I?

    No topic. No agenda. Just me, sitting in the car with entirely too many thoughts and nowhere in particular to take them. This is a true free-for-all episode: life updates, current obsessions, random complaints, things making me happy, things I’ve been thinking about, and whatever else my brain decided we needed to discuss along the way. Basically, you’re in the passenger seat today. Anyway, where was I?

    Ep. 5 — Stop Yucking Everybody’s Yum

    I have a few pet peeves, and apparently they all boil down to one thing: please let people be people. Why do we have to yuck someone else’s yum? Why does me loving something mean you need to tell me why it sucks—or why your thing is better? Why do we compete with our friends instead of rooting for each other? And please stop telling people what they’re supposed to think, believe, or feel. Somehow this also turns into Taylor Swift, celebrity hate, virtue signaling, identity, friendship, and one surprisingly complicated question: Are you a good person? Because I think people are inherently good. Complicated, sometimes messy, different levels of good—but good. Anyway. Stop yucking everyone’s yum. You don’t have to understand it. Just let people enjoy things.

    Ep. 4 - Maybe Manifesting Is Just Doing the Work

    First day back from PTO, an interview, work stuff… and somehow that turned into me taking inventory of the goals I made for myself in 2026. I’m talking about manifestation—but probably not the kind you’re thinking of. Less “the universe will provide” and more “maybe thinking about what you want over and over eventually makes you start moving toward it.” Some of my goals are already happening. Some are in progress. Some I haven’t touched yet. But they’re tangible, they’re mine, and I still have time. Also: I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions. Apparently I’m more of a randomly-make-goals-in-the-middle-of-the-year kind of person. So maybe make the goal. Make it tangible. And see what happens.

    Ep. 3 - Oh No… I Get K-Pop Now

    I used to look at grown women obsessed with K-pop and think, Girl… what are you doing? Now I’m listening to BTS, wandering into Stray Kids and MONSTA X, learning everybody’s honey voice, following Wonho’s comeback like I personally have stock in the man, and realizing: Oh no. I get it now. In this episode, I talk about accidentally falling down the K-pop rabbit hole—not because I was trying to “catch up,” but because one song kept leading to another question, another group, another music video, another piece of lore, and suddenly I’m doing a full social experiment in my head. But somewhere along the way, it became more than music. I’m fascinated by how accessible and strangely normal these supposedly untouchable idols can feel—the livestreams, goofy YouTube videos, friendships, dance challenges, military reunions, and moments where they’re just grown men being ridiculous together. I’m also realizing why the fandom isn’t remotely as young as I once assumed. And, yes, we need to discuss when everybody decided K-pop needed strip-club bangers. Because apparently the boys grew up. Mostly, though, this is about finding something that has brought me genuine joy during a time when I’ve really needed it. K-pop feels like a little world away from my own—a place where I don’t have to fit into anybody else’s idea of what I’m supposed to listen to or who I’m supposed to be. Apparently, I’m on a K-pop journey now. God help me. 즐겨!

    Ep. 2 - PTO Isn’t Always a Vacation

    I thought taking time off would feel like a reset. Instead, it reminded me that life doesn’t pause just because I’m on PTO. In this episode, I talk about what my first real day off was actually like, the worries I’ve been carrying about my son, how my own childhood shapes the way I parent, and why I’ve been wrestling with feeling like I’m not doing enough. Just an honest conversation before I go inside.
