Ep 36 | 5 Most Common Questions About A Career In Applied Behavior Analysis, Health, and Fitness | BehaviorFit Blog Companion

Ep 36 | 5 Most Common Questions About A Career In Applied Behavior Analysis, Health, and Fitness | BehaviorFit Blog Companion

I receive many questions on a daily basis about my work.

Check out the full article on BehaviorFit.com/blog 🤓📝

I put together an article that addresses MOST of the common questions that I'm asked

Here are the 5 I answer:

Will a BCBA certification be beneficial to my dream health and fitness career?
Why do you – Nick Green – have a BCBA certification if you do not bill to insurance companies?
I want to follow a similar path as you, but where should I study?
    Are you accepting practicum students?
How do I start a career in health and fitness using the principles of behavior analysis?

This article will likely appeal to:

Someone starting off in the field in applied behavior analysis
A BCBA and interested in applications to health and fitness
A health and fitness professional interested in learning the principles of applied behavior analysis - Or someone just curious my work

Ep 35 | 5 Steps to Fix Your Broken Fitness Routine | BehaviorFit Radio

Ep 35 | 5 Steps to Fix Your Broken Fitness Routine | BehaviorFit Radio

When I work with clients, I use a process called "shaping" to establish new fitness routines or repair old ones. Shaping requires my clients/athletes to GRADUALLY work towards an "ideal" or targeted fitness routine that he or she can maintain over the long haul.

I document this process with extensive data collection, feedback, and regular coaching meetings to build any fitness routine.

Ep 33 | How to Self-Monitor COVID-19 Symptoms and Social Distancing

How to Self-Monitor COVID-19 Symptoms and Social Distancing

    .....

Tracking symptoms is incredibly important. If we all self-monitor a little bit, then maybe we can stay ahead of (and flatten) curve, and save a life or two.

    ....

Because self-quarantine is recommended to be two-weeks, I created a symptom tracker and show you how to track all symptoms* over a 2-week period

    .....

***Note: all symptoms come from an infographic created by the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical school***

     .....

Check out the YouTube video for a walkthrough

    STEPS:

    1️⃣Go to blog www.behaviorfit.com/blog

2️⃣Read blog and watch YouTube tutorial

    3️⃣Download Excel or PDF version

    4️⃣Check symptoms daily

5️⃣Follow the experts and local government rules

     .....
