ADHD, addiction, rehab and the unstoppable force of neurodiversity in business with Jonathan Edgeley

Hello and welcome to episode four of Behind The Climb, a podcast dedicated to highlighting the incredible stories of entrepreneurs and business owners a like that nobody talks about. I'm your host, Kieran Harris and this episode I'm joined by none other than Jonathan Edgeley of Montrose Health Group. Jonathan has been there and done it all, from his early struggles with addiction to entering rehab later in life, he's definitely the guy I'd want in my corner if I needed the kind of support and advice that's life changing. As we're both diagnosed with ADHD, expect a bit of back and forth in this episode but we dive into some pretty deep stuff including relationships, the impact of neurodiversity and drugs on families, overcoming what feels impossible to overcome and so much more. It's often said that ADHD, when harnesses, is a super power. Especially for business owners. I stand by that, completely. Seeing how ADHD has impacted my life and since my diagnosis, I've been able to tailor my approach to life. As is the way with these things it often gets handed down and my children are no exception. I share some of my most personal stories around mine and my families experiences with ADHD and neurodiversity. If it can help just one person out there, I'm happy. Jonathan has been through so much, some of his stories caught me completely off guard as I'm sure they will you as well. What's clearly apparent though, is his strength and resolve when it comes to not only overcoming things, but to create opportunities that most of us can only dream of. This is why I started Behind The Climb, for conversations like this. Meaningful and impactful. Narcissistic business partners, EOS and making effective decisions quicker with Jason Green

Welcome to episode three of Behind The Climb with me, your host, Kieran Harris. Another episode, another insightful look into the mind of another incredible individual. This episode, I’m joined by EOS implementor, Jason Green. Jason takes me through the early years of his business journey, from working with narcissistic business partners to finding EOS and building a highly successful business which helps countless others grow and flourish by implementing its systems. I think you’ll agree with me when I say that Jason is an extremely likeable, he has a clear love for business and growth that’s infectious. What resonated with me, was his views on making those tough decisions quicker. After realising that his business partners were simply not pulling their weight, he made the difficult decision to get rid and move on from what was becoming a great business. Since, Jason has become an EOS implementor. EOS, or ‘Entrepreneur’s Operating System’, helps businesses and leadership teams clarify their vision and gain traction on it to become a healthy, cohesive team. He’s one of the mot recognised implementors in the UK and it’s easy to see why. The mentality behind starting a multi-million pound business from your bedroom with Sam Stoffel

Hello and welcome to the first ever episode of Behind The Climb with me, your host, Kieran Harris. This episode, I have a very special guest, Sam Stoffel. Sam’s story is a real rags to riches one, from living on benefits to selling the business he started from his university bedroom in a multi-million pound deal. He’s been through law suits, a horrific car crash and so much more. His mindset and determination is what really drew me to Sam when we first met, he’s incredibly driven, motivated and refuses to allow anything to get in his way. When Sam puts his mind to something, he gives it his absolute all until it’s a success. His story begins when he founded ‘Outplayed’, a matched betting platform that took the world by storm. Without any external investment, he built this business from the ground up into a multi-million pound exit. On benefits at the time, Sam needed a quick way to make money and improve his life. He saw an opportunity within the matched betting world using ‘free bets’ to generate predictable and consistent returns. This incredible amount of success drew in lots of attention from the industries leading companies resulting in a rather interesting law suit case. If that wasn’t enough, an overnight rebrand and collaborating with a shady business partner almost destroyed the business overnight. The way in which Sam handled this however, is nothing short of inspiring. These days, Sam uses his wealth of experience to educate and help those looking to grow their personal brand and to put it simply, make more money. This episode is proof that anything is possible in this world if you’re willing to do what it takes.
