Productivity Hack for Working from Home: Putting on Shoes

Productivity Hack for Working from Home: Putting on Shoes

One thing I’ve done every single day for the past decade before I sit down to work, is put on my shoes. From that very first day I started working for myself back in July 2013, putting on my shoes each morning and walking to my “desk” has been my mental shift into it is time to make sh*t happen.

As an entrepreneur that works from home, there are so many guardrails that you must put into place to stay focused. It is so easy to get distracted by cleaning, laundry, phone calls from your mom or running errands. As someone with ADHA and dyslexia, I know the power of structure.

This simple routine of putting on my shoes each day is a signal to my brain that this is a time to work. This is my dedicated time to building my dreams and career.

Shoes are on! Let’s take on this Monday!

Teaser: New things to come for Behind the Sweat

Teaser: New things to come for Behind the Sweat

Last weekend I attended the Powerhouse Women conference in Arizona and left a brand new person. One of my big takeaways was what do I want my personal brand to be? The answer: where wellness meets business. This is part of my authentic code. I want to be known as a wellness entreprenuer and a subject matter expert on marketing + business. Honestly, this is how I can best sum of my 17 year career so far.

As part of this, I want to be honest about everything I have learned about building a business. From the giant wins to the failures. With that, I bring you a new version of the Behind the Sweat Podcast.

All About IV Therapy - Benefits for Athletes and Pop Culture Phenomenon

All About IV Therapy - Benefits for Athletes and Pop Culture Phenomenon

IV therapy has been making headlines for various reasons, and this episode explores its benefits for athletes and discusses the pop culture phenomenon around it. The guest for today's episode is Katie Gillberg, from Hydrate IV Bar, who has extensive experience in IV therapy.

IV therapy is not a new concept; it involves administering nutrients, fluids, and vitamins directly into the bloodstream via an IV drip.
IV therapy is often used to treat dehydration, nutrient deficiencies, and fatigue.
Athletes can benefit from IV therapy to help with post-workout recovery and to replenish lost fluids and nutrients.
IV therapy can also improve athletic performance by increasing energy levels and reducing inflammation.

So quiet

I enjoy the podcast but the volume is so low. I have to turn it up to max almost every time.

Tootiredforwords ,

Easy to listen to, packed with inspiration!

Normally I listen to comedic podcast when I’m running, and have recently started listening to this podcast which is not comedic yet entertaining and has funny moments. But most of all it has giving me things to think about as I run. It’s inspirational and I highly recommend this as a choice when you’re looking at all the different running podcast out there!
