Excellent podcast GO CANES!
Great Interview with J.Harris
First time listening was this Jacorey Harris episode and it was outstanding. I really appreciated his candor about his time at The U. The frustrations over the offense being Pro Style, how the coaches didn’t receive his input on what he’s seeing as a QB at all. It’s crazy to hear him say in HS he called his own plays so it was crazy to have the coaches call everything, not make changes accordingly during the game, during the season and not be receptive of advice from the QB.
Felt kind of bad hearing him talk about the success of other South Florida QBs at other places running the spread and him just sitting back wishing he had the opportunity to do the same.
- An excellent question in that part of the conversation would have been if there was a transfer portal then would you have considered transferring after seeing they mislead you with the offensive system or maybe after the second OC came in with the same type of system.
