We all want to be seen for who we are: unique and special; respected for our differences; seen, valued, and loved. We have our idea of HOW we are seen or how we WANT to be seen. Sometimes those 2 things do not add up.
Our worth is sometimes found in the wrong places, leading us into crisis. However, it is from those turning points that we find out no title will ever define what we were meant to be.
As we learn, grow, and move through life, we become SEEN.
The Being Seen podcast shares testimonies of how going beyond what the world sees, we find out who we were meant to be. Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/hagarsheart/support

Episode 4 Grief Redeemed: Cami Eytcheson
Imagine a life as it should be, following the plan, and suddenly faced with an incomprehensible situation. At age 14, Cami’s mother was diagnosed with cancer. Four years later, her mom passed away. As she began to deal with the pain, she turned away from the faith she was raised with and sought out worldly options to heal her grief.
At 34, with no time to prepare, Cami lost her father. In the middle of all the hurt, Cami was able to see her life as beautifully redeemed. Her loving God pursued her and brought her back to a new understanding of who He is.
Listen as Cami tells her story of how focusing on the world for her healing led her to a beautiful faith.

Episode 2: The Light is always ON. Dena Dyer
Brutal. This is the only word Dena uses to describe the last year of her life…and she’s not referring to Covid. Dena Dyer, author and speaker, shares her journey through circumstances she never would have chosen. However, she also encourages us that although life doesn’t always give us what we want, we can see the light if we reach out—and if we know where to look.
He is big enough.

Episode 1: It Doesn't Have to Be that Way: Dr. Felecia Dunson
Felecia knew she was clever at a young age. She was adventurous and loved learning more about the world and its people.
At the age of 5, Felecia’s world view changed after her parent’s divorce. But moving to a new city, 5 years later, began Felecia’s journey to seeing how the world views her.
Often overlooked being black in a predominantly white school, a teacher who saw her intelligence, sparked a confidence that led her to pursue big dreams. Later, attending an HBCU summer program with other African American high school students from across the country, opened her eyes and helped her see that: “It doesn’t have to be this way. It can be different.”
These seeds of advocacy led her to develop The Diversity Workshop. Listen to Felecia’s journey of overcoming barriers to advocate for all in our first episode of Being Seen.
