Ben & Ben & the Criterion Ben & Ben

- TV & Film
-
Two Austin knuckleheads discuss movies from the Criterion Collection, as well as anything else that distracts them.
-
61- Monty Python's Life Of Brian
The boys are back! Here with the wackiest show they've ever done, Hilton and Weaver discuss a Monty Python classic. Tune in to find out how Weaver is definitely not a man concerned with the details.
-
76- Brief Encounter
"Call your girlfriend
It's time you had the talk
Give your reasons
Say it's not her fault
But you just met somebody new"
Except you don't call her. You stay with her because you've built a life with her. This is just the most intense, fleeting, ephemeral experience of your life. You're never going to forget me, but you're going to stay with her. And move to Johannesburg. But that's beside the point.
Brief Encounter. What a gem. Go get it in your ear holes! -
253 - Woman Under The Influence
Sorry for the delay on this one gang--Hilton had a busy week and did a poor job with his time management. This week we discuss one of the first real independent films. To keep the mood light we also throw in some baby goats, so there's something for the whole family (#fam).
Thanks to Alexander Arrick for his song "These City Streets"

Customer Reviews
Do you enjoy things that are funny?
Do you want to know (or seem like you know) a lot about movies and the criterion collection? Do you want to listen to two people with great chemistry? Do you like things that are hilarious? If so, Ben and Ben and the Criterion is a podcast you should be definitely listening to. And if not… well might as well listen anyway.
Before I started listening to this podcast, I did not have girlfriend, a degree, and at one point I couldn’t even read. Now that I listen to the podcast, I have a college degree and am in a loving relationship. Listen to this podcast and maybe some of it’ll happen to you too (or maybe it won’t, I can’t promise that).
Also, if you do not get 10 of your friends to give this podcast 5 star reviews you will never find love.
Double the Ben Double the Entertainment
I give some major kudos to these boys for tackling this list of classic films! Not to mention, they are hilarious and have fantastic chemistry. Brilliant newcomers to the scene. I can't wait until they take one of their spin off ideas to make another show.
I love this show!
Weaver's laugh brings me joy.
