The content is excellent and the writing is very good. But the one host and we all know which one, is not cut out for this. Unless she takes the time to take elocution lessons , learns inflection and must stop dragging out the last syllable of literally sentence. It makes it impossible to listen.

LOVEEE Kourt from tiktok and her voice is the best for story times. Sarah’s voice is so monotones and Ai sounding it throws the podcast off. I also agree with the other comments that some of the commentary between the story is just so unnecessary. the stories are clearly researched and well explained! i just found this podcast after listening to all of crime junkie and i think it is my new main listen!

I want to love Sarah because I know she does a love of good in the crime community. But... her forced monotone voice just makes my ears hurt. It's like nails on a chalkboard. I've heard her play recordings speaking with her dad regarding her sister, and she does not use the monotone voice. It truly throws the whole podcast off. I wish Kourtney had her own show. They seem knowledgeable but the valley girl voice just isn't for me.

I’ve started to listen on multiple occasions but Sarah’s voice makes it intolerable. I appreciate all she does for victims and their families but I just cannot handle her voice.
