    Mass Incarceration

    Miss Eve and Moreh are concerned about how the Prison Industrial Complex is impacting our people. Because of it, a large portion of our population is linked to the criminal justice system during some part of our lifespan, and one reason this phenomena is alarming is because in practice it relegate us to yet another form of servitude. The relatively recent practice of mass incarceration needs to come to an end if we are to be a free and productive people. Take a listen, and make a decision to be part of the solution.

    How Can Men and Women Find Common Ground?

    Critical to our growth and maturity as a people is good relationships between the sexes. It is these good relationships that create long-term relationships, marriage bonds, offspring, and intergenerational legacy. The trouble is, the Battle of the Sexes that reignites each time one person publishes faulty generalizations about members of the opposite gender is what tears at trust and confidence between men and women. This needs to end and Miss Eve & Moreh seek to draw swords against disunity in this episode. Do you have male and female friends in the midst of relational discord who need to hear this discussion?     There's always a risk of disturbing members of our community with truths about traumatic recurring events such as police brutality, however ignoring this reality will not serve us well, either. Moreh and Miss Eve take the time in this episode to discuss both the historic and contemporary  damage of police brutality as well as how we can empower ourselves and our families in this climate.     It's an open secret that of a few hundred thousand children who go missing annually, African American kids are over-represented and underreported. Moreh and Miss Eve have taken this opportunity to discuss this problem, the racial disparity, and what families and communities can do in the midst of an imperfect system. #NationTime means care and concern for one another. It can't possibly be achieved if members of the next generation don't feel safe in their formable years. Enjoy the episode.

    In the current "gig economy" age in which people are becoming less and less satisfied by their none-to-five jobs, Miss Eve and Moreh have decided to explore the benefits and drawbacks of the "Rat Race." This discussion provides the context needed for citizens of our Nation to make thoughtful and informed decisions about how they will financially support themselves and their families. It is easy to quit a job to pursue one's dream, but the "pursuit" part may not be so simple. By contrast, it's easy to simply work eight hours a day in a cubicle, but ignoring one's passion can often prove painful. Is the Rat Race worth it? Take a listen.

    Our people will often do anything we can to avoid the subject of health and wellness. Though we can intellectually surmise that without personal health the topic of #NationTime is moot, we have a complicated relationship with disease, cuisine, and the healthcare industry. This is precisely why Moreh and Miss Eve have chosen this topic, as risky as it is. Be courageous and take a listen. We are no stronger than our bodies and minds.

    As resilient as we have been, undeniable and chronic dysfunctions also persist in the Black American community. They range from health and wealth disparities to violence from police officers and even our own neighbors. Why is this? Miss Eve and Moreh discuss the ways in which four centuries of oppression and discrimination have impacted us as a people and what we can do to combat the mental health concerns that have arguably emerged as a result.
