In just over 6 months during a pandemic, Maisha learned how to make clay earrings, started a handmade business called Ms.Claze which now brings joy to people all over the world. Is she just gifted or is there something more?

Maisha always knew she was a creative. She delved in all kinds of crafts like paper-crafting and painting. Her mom was also a huge supporter of the arts, but despite all of this, she did little to no art for 7+ years. That is until she touched polymer clay in August 2020 and she felt like she knew how to work with clay all her life. In this uplifting episode of Bengali Boost, Maisha shares about starting a creative  business and how resilience and social media helped her grow it to where it is now.

At a time when Bengali teens were jamming to thrash metal, Issa fell in love with another genre of music and it kick started a life-long journey in singing. When he released his hit single, Shokaleo, he realized he wanted to take his music to the next level. But the journey wasn't an easy one.

Under his stage-name Farooque Bhai Project, he has continued to push the boundaries of what Bangla pop music can sound like. Crafting a unique sound and fusing music from around the world, his songs have been featured in movies like Mainkar Chipay and Sincerely Yours Dhaka on Netflix.  His song Duita Dekhi was the #2 Track of 2020 on BBC Asia. So how does he consistently create catchy melodies that get stuck in our heads?
