Needed insight

I work in the mental health field and have been a Jesus follower for almost 20years. The disconnect between the churches role/Jesus followers responses to mental health and suffering has been discouraging over the years. I am beyond thankful for Wesley’s insight, heart and knowledge on real life suffering and the Bible. It’s refresh to remember that we are not alone in our suffering. Wesley conveys tangible ways to love and support each other as we walk through pain and suffering. It’s an encouraging, and insightful podcast for all.

Timely!

We need these truths right now- Wisdom on suffering and the many forms it takes. I love, too, the discussions on mental health. These are hard subjects to approach, and sometimes scary. Listening to Wesley unpack these, helps me feel less alone and better armed to face them in my own life. Thankful to have a grounded, biblical perspective on this and from someone who has faced immense pain in their own life, giving him the ability to share and teach with deep empathy. ❤️

This podcast is much needed!!!

I was so excited to learn that Wesley was going to be putting out his own podcast. He was our pastor while we were living in Eugene and no matter where we have moved to and are living, he continues to have a major impact on our lives (all praise be to God!). His episodes on suffering have been told from a loving and truth-filled heart and they speak straight to my soul as someone who has experienced suffering on levels that still impact me greatly today. Taking time to listen to his insight means you are taking time to hear God speak through him to you. That is how personal it feels when you allow his words to sink in and resonate. Suffering has purpose and meaning and is part of your story brother and sister in Christ. Don’t run from it or try to cover it up as the world wants you to. PLEASE take time to listen to Wesley’s episodes!
