There's potential here but get to the point and stick to it. I don't care how much Asian food Jess ate last weekend, I just want to learn how to get swoll. Cory D needs to keep everyone on topic. How about give everyone 2 minutes to talk about something they specialize with to open up the show - Nate with a powerlifting tip, Joh with something related to physical therapy or coaching, Cory with cross fit. Then get to the main subject and tie in the tips with it. I'm available for consulting services for a small fee.
Writing a review to prove a point.
I'm the host, not trying to fool anyone here. I am literally writing this review to prove to my good friend Mr. Giraffe, that a review can be written.
That is all.
A timeless podcast with humor, good info, and great banter. This guy Joh asks the questions that I was wondering, great mediator with good nuggets of practical knowledge. Cory has a good formal knowledge, but that's stuff I can google myself. I would like to hear a bit more specifics, don't just say "I calculated it", give me typical body weights, examples, more anecdotes from yourself or people you've trained. A little less Pokémon Go would be great too :) I never heard anyone define the term macronutrients..I assume protein, carbs, and fats after listening for a while, but I was a bit confused at the beginning.
In summary, more Joh, more Nate, Cory I want to hear your experiences, not definitions. Jess is good comic relief, but keep it light. More examples and specifics. I'd say the latter part of the podcast was much better than the first 15min because it was more focused on the issue of overtraining. Great work, keep it up.
