    Episode 51 - Gamecock Heroes / Jayden Daniels / Proverbs 15:4

    Happy Wednesday, everyone. Welcome into Between Services. We are glad you are with us. We kick off this week with dueling 51s. The guys then jump into some Atlanta Braves discussion which begins around Chris Sale's controversial balk call followed by an ejection the next day in Yankee Stadium before a pitch was thrown. Can the Braves hold off the Phillies down the stretch run into September for the NL East? The guys dive into the final month and a half of the Braves schedule. Last week was a dark walk down Gamecock Football memory lane with villains, so Hamilton livens up the mood with Blind Rankings that cover Gamecock Super Heros. The Gamecocks got some unfortunate news this week with two WRs being lost for the season. Brent and Hamilton dive into what that means for Kendal Briles and the Gamecock offense going into the 2026 season. Switching gears, if there was a 7 game series on random physical activities between Brent and Hamilton, who would win? In Did You See That, Brent and Hamilton discuss the odd Jayden Daniels saga surrounding the #5 usage at LSU, and no, Jayden did not tell Brent and Hamilton that they could not use the #5 in episode 51 marketing. Hamilton brings the devotion with Proverbs. This week is the official release of The Spurrier Effect, and Brent and Hamilton reflect on the long, two year process that has led to this book becoming reality. Andruw Jones finally was inducted into the Baseball HoF, and Brent and Hamilton discuss Is Andurw Jones the best defensive center fielder of all time as well as looking back at some of Andruw's career highlights.     Between Services is back for the Hank Aaron episode. Hamilton is back home, but Brent is living the beach life live on location this week. Dueling 44s start us up this week. Speaking of Hank Aaron, the guys discuss the current state of the Atlanta Braves. They have hit a wall, and the Phillies are closing in fast. The guys discuss what the front office can do internally and externally to help the team. Or, as Brent believes, just call in Travis Coates from Old Yeller and finish them off for good. The USA World Cup team is through to the Knockout Round, how far can they go? SVG wins again at Sonoma, Brendan Sorsby is still looking for a place to play football, Alan Jackson bids a farewell, and basketball players can apparently play for any country they want to in the FIBA World Cup.
