I love this podcast, because it explains a lot of the things I wonder about (nutrition, fitness, etc), but don’t have time to read about. My Box does this podcast, so I might be biased there. HOWEVER, what I really appreciate is that they focus on a full range of movement, which many times includes scaling, until you have the muscular strength to complete the RX movements. This is a vastly different approach than how I typically think of for CrossFit and ultimately results in fewer injuries — which is really the only reason I would even consider CrossFit over other fitness regimes! (I have a history of injuries, which ultimately resulted in a period of 8 years where I didn’t work out at all - so I def don’t want to go back to that!) That being said - I love their perspective and hearing more about what I can be doing to improve my health and fitness and to continue refining my skills at the Box.
