    Since receiving his Reiki master initiation in 1995, Brett Bevell has dedicated himself to discovering new Reiki techniques that work collaboratively with the higher self. His Reiki Divine Healing Card Deck, published in 2024 by U.S. Games Systems, was created with the intention to open doorways of higher consciousness and bring wisdom and spiritual healing to its beholder. Brett is the author of several books, including Psychic Reiki, The Reiki Magic Guide to Self-Attunement, and Reiki for Spiritual Healing. He is a workshop presenter at the Omega Institute.     Episode 23: Interview with Isabel Hayes

    Inspired by the vibrant colors and visual richness of her childhood in Madrid and Guatemala, Isabel Hayes uses color to evoke mood and emotion. Mostly a self-taught painter and illustrator, her subjects arise intuitively from her imagination, with enigmatic faces that invite viewers to create their own narratives. She works primarily with oil and acrylic paints on various surfaces and builds her pieces through layered techniques. After four years of dedication, she completed the Tarot of H’Arts, a 79-card deck that pulsates with world rhythms and celebrates the creative arts in all its myriad forms: dance, music, drama, cinema and storytelling. She has also contributed to Pride Tarot: A Collaborative Deck, with her beautiful Sun card featured on the cover.     Episode 22: Interview with Michael Calandra

    From his studio and picture framing shop in Ohio, Michael Calandra is an airbrush and mixed media artist who has worked in the comic, horror and fantasy genres for 20 years. His new tarot deck, Calandra Tarot, is a mesmerizing work of luminous imagery inspired by traditional tarot. Each card was intricately designed using traditional mediums of airbrush, acrylic paint, and colored pencils. Michael's art has appeared on the cover of Heavy Metal Magazine four times and has appeared in cover art/tutorials for Airbrush Step by Step Magazine three times. He has created trading and game card art for Fantasy Flight Games, Night of the Living Dead, The Lon Chaney Legacy, and 78 Tarot collaborative decks.     Amelia Rozear is a Providence-based painter and illustrator with a love of traditional media. She received her BFA in illustration from RISD in 2022. Her work is an ode to her childhood in coastal New England, and is inspired by textile design, storybook illustration, and traditional painting. Her Curious Travels Tarot Deck, created during the pandemic, has delighted tarot readers with its originality, presenting images filled with adventure and creating space not only for insightful readings but also for captivating stories of love, pain, new beginnings, and wonder. Amelia has recently launched an art history podcast called The Gilded Eye Podcast. Her Instagram has amassed over 100k dedicated followers. In the early 1990s, Anita facilitated workshops on crystal work, meditation and guided visualization. She deepened her tarot practice when she started exploring its transformational side, using tarot as a tool not just for divination, but for healing work. This is what interests her now and what she infused into her new Universal Folk Tarot.
