When Opportunity Knocks: A Conversation with Former NFL Player JJ Birden
#065: In this episode of Beyond the Culture, Dr. Walker speaks with Former NFL player JJ Birden.
JJ. Birden was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 8th round of the 1988 NFL Draft. He played in 9 NFL seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons.
Birden played at the University of Oregon. In 2010, Birden was inducted Oregon's Athletic Hall of Fame as Track and Field athlete.
Birden travels extensively as a motivational and opportunity speaker and trainer for companies large and small; team building seminars, as well as youth group life skill development meetings.
JJ is a best-selling author of When Opportunity Knocks: 8 Surefire Ways to Take Advantage. Birden and his wife Raina have three children and five adopted children.
