    Why Your Worst Days Are Not the End of Your Ministry

Maybe someone says something that hits a little harder than they probably realized.     Why Waiting on God is the Hardest and Most Rewarding Thing You'll Ever Do Maybe God isn’t late. Maybe we’re just moving faster than He asked us to. Waiting is hard. Especially when you have a plan, a vision, a job opportunity, a relationship, or a ministry direction that feels like the obvious next step. But what happens when God doesn’t move on our timeline?     We're Not Resting. We're Just Abusing the Sabbath Differently.

    We talk a lot about burnout in ministry, but what if the real problem isn't that we're working too hard? What if it's that we've never actually practiced rest? In this episode of Beyond the Numbers, Josh gets honest about years of calling his day off "rest" when it was really just his to-do list wearing a different outfit, and unpacks a hard truth: the Pharisees abused the Sabbath by adding rules to it until nobody could breathe.
