    How do men and women experience love differently?

    Send a text In this week’s episode, we will address the different ways in which men and women experience love. We will introduce various factors that significantly influence how love is expressed between men and women, including gender roles and societal standards. Additionally, we unpack common misconceptions that westernized culture has stipulated regarding love in this matter and offer some clarity on the reality of the situation by introducing an individualistic approach through self-reflection and a deep sense of curiosity. One of the main takeaways for listeners is  understanding that since everyone is different, the manner in which they embody and share their love is going to be unique. I encourage you to view differences as an opportunity to bridge the gap between the partnership and strengthen the bond, rather than act as a means for complete rejection or dismissal  to ensue.     Love in a nutshell: Find it, Keep it, Become it.

    Send us a text Everyone loves love. I think it is something that, once experienced, can truly transform you from the inside out. However, a key ingredient that shapes the process of being and feeling love in the most wholesome way is the relationship you have with yourself. If you can recognize and meet your  own needs and wants while holding yourself in a gentle, compassionate, safe, and understanding way, then you will welcome in these very same things in a partner. Most importantly, realizing that love is not supposed to be perfect, but rather make sense to you based on what you value, will allow the bond or connection you have with your partner flow more naturally and run a smoother course. After all, the love you share with someone else stems from a place of intent where both individuals commit to investing an equal amount of time, effort, and energy for the connection to strengthen and grow. Remember, love surrounds us all, and you have the opportunity to fully embody it by practicing gratitude for life’s little details and by being moved by the essence of love.     Holistic healing: Exploring common practices through conscious awareness

    Send us a text Holistic healing encompasses a thorough recognition and understanding of the physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of an individual. Given this, many times a series of modalities are introduced to address a lot of factors that come into play when trying to heal and promote someone's health and well-being. In this week's episode, we explore different holistic healing modalities, discuss the importance of establishing a good relationship with oneself by allowing the heart to lead and the mind to follow, as well as highlight the significance of strengthening one's self-belief and value for change to take place. Remember that true healing starts with yourself, everything else is secondary. Trust yourself and the process and allow love and self-compassion to be your compass.

    Turning passion into opportunity

    Send us a text Many of us are born with a set of skills or abilities that move us to have an inclination for either the arts, history, science, etc. We call this inclination a special regard or "passion" for what we enjoy, even love sometimes. Wouldn't it be nice to engage in our passion not only momentarily, but in a more expansive form by turning it into a source of income? In this week's episode we explore this idea. We discuss different challenges that come along the way, the mindset required to turn the dream into reality, as well as the importance of believing in yourself and learning to market your craft regardless of the room you are entering.     Embracing a spirit of gratitude

    Send us a text What is gratitude? It involves a state of appreciation or thanksgiving for all that you have. This episode dives into ways you can cultivate gratitude by being present, engaging in acts of service, journaling, writing words of affirmation, among others. Most importantly, the episode motivates you to fuel your fire for thanksgiving and to change the narrative you have about gratitude. A key way to do so is making a distinction between what you need versus what you want. It all starts with you! Think positively and look for the good always!

    Nurturing your self-esteem: Planting the right seeds to grow a better self-image

    Send us a text Self-esteem is one of the things that many people struggle with. In a society that promotes superficiality, going within and doing the self-work is the groundwork for true change to take place and for a good sense of self-esteem to be cultivated. Planting the right seeds through the use of self-awareness, watering yourself through self-love, patience, and self-compassion, as well as celebrating the blooming process results in better self-confidence and a good sense of self-esteem.     Your brain on the feed

    Send us a text Social media highly impacts the way we think and behave in our everyday life. Currently, many of us spend on average 2 hours and 23 minutes scrolling through social media on a daily basis. Virtual platforms like TikTok and Instagram can be as addictive as a drug that has negative repercussions on our attention and concentration levels as well as mental states. Delaying immediate gratification, implementing mindfulness practices, and living in a spirit of gratitude acts as a step forward towards finding a state of equilibrium. In a world that is overstimulated, finding a sense of normalcy by "savoring the moment" and embracing what gives us true joy and a sense of happiness is a must. The change starts with you!     Life after loss

    Send us a text In this episode we discuss the grief that is present after losing someone dear to us. We compare and contrast the differences between losing someone in the physical sense of the word as opposed to emotionally detaching from them. Additionally, the episode introduces the value behind celebrating the legacy someone we love left behind and always leading with love each moment of everyday. Listeners will be reminded of the importance of vulnerability as a vehicle to heal, grow, and move forward in life after losing someone as well as embracing each stage of the grieving process one step at a time.
