Bible Braced

Katie Rix

Let's face it: we live in a chaotic world that's constantly shouting what it thinks about God, life, purpose, and eternity - and what the world is shouting is all wrong! Without intentional time in the only Word of God (the Bible), we can easily give in to the convincing and repetitive arguments that scream at us from phones, friends, and even our own thoughts. We need to be braced on something strong enough to handle our crises, our heartache, our questions, and our security. We need to know what God's Word says and apply it to our lives in ways that impact our daily tasks and routines. You need to think about God and His plan for us when you "sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise" (Deut. 6:7).No matter what your age or situation, you're welcome here! You may be a pre-teen who is trying to make sense of your Bible or a young mom with kids hanging on your arms and no time to yourself. You may be a new believer in Jesus or have devoted years to following Him faithfully. Old, young, single, married, kids, no kids - we all need a closer walk with our Savior!Check out our podcast for episodes on daily living according to God's Word! We also have episodes teaching verse-by-verse Bible study (a great resource for any age and any place in your walk with God)!Praying this will be a blessing for you and help draw you nearer to the Savior as we study His Word together.

  1. EPISODE 4

Episode 4 - "God the Son" - Relationship (with God) pt. 4

Welcome back! Join us as we study the second Member of the Trinity - Jesus Christ, God the Son! We can't think of a better way to spend Holy Week than in contemplating the 'why' behind His earthly ministry, death, burial, and resurrection. There are a lot of labels people give Jesus, but which ones are true - a prophet, a teacher, a good man, or God Himself? Dive into God's Word with us as we consider these things and find out what that really means for you and me.  We hope you'll be uplifted and encouraged by what the Bible has to say and that you'll come back with us week after week as we continue to learn and grow together.  Link to Bible Study mentioned: https://www.buzzsprout.com/2151841/episodes/12442071-intro-to-bible-study-start-here-before-clicking-on-lesson-1 Passages referenced in podcast: John 1 John 14:6-7 John 4:34 Colossians 1:12-20 Genesis 3:15 Revelation 1:17b-18 Philippians 1:6 John 14:1-3 1 John 2:1-2   For further study: Angel of the Lord - Genesis 16:7-14, 22:11-15, Exodus 3:2-4 Genesis 1-3 Revelation 1 The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John tell about Jesus' earthly ministry.
