In our sixth episode of Bible Nerds, I am joined by Amanda Mutio and Giancarlo Oviedo. When we first recorded this episode, they were only dating. Now, they are happily married and we are excited to share this episode with them. Amanda works with the same ministry organization Sam does, Bridges International. Amanda loves serving and reaching international students who study at NYU in New York City. Giancarlo works with Sunrise Association (www.sunriseassociation.org) where their mission is "to bring back the joys of childhood to children with cancer and their siblings world-wide..."
Our study topic of "Jesus' Victory" took us to Luke 24:13-35 where we studied the story of Jesus appearing to His disciples on the road to Emmaus.

In our fifth episode of Bible Nerds, I am joined by Dan & Jenna Davis. Dan is the editor and producer of Bible Nerds, but mainly has lent his audio expertise to sound for film where he has won awards for film sound. Dan also happens to be my handsome identical twin brother. Dan and Jenna have been married for 12 years. Jenna is a world champion Tae Kwon Do black belt and instructor. They live and work in middle Tennessee.
Our study topic of "Jesus' Power" took us to Mark 5:1-20 where we learned about Jesus' authority over spirits.

Jesus and the Samaritan WomanTopic: Jesus' Life
In our fourth episode of Bible Nerds we're joined by John Schirle and Nick Oyler. John is the first overseas missionary my brothers and I got to know well at a young age and his passionate life of service has inspired many to follow Jesus closely. Nick is a pastor and leader who also helped teach my brothers and me in youth group at our local church in Decatur, IL. They are both great men of God whom we are blessed to know.
This episode has some background noise we weren't able to get rid of, but it also has some great notes on this well-known story. We hope you enjoy it.
Our study topic of "Jesus' Life" took us to John 4:1-26, 39-42 where we studied the story of Jesus and the Samaritan Woman.
