Big Dad Energy

Joe and Jared are a great team to guide you into fatherhood. Once my wife and I found out we were expecting I did the obvious thing and googled podcasts for that sort of thing and Big Dad Energy was ranked #2. I read the reviews of the top 10 and chose this podcast. Jared and his wife have a baby boy a few podcasts in and Joe has a 9 month old girl at the start so they’re giving it to you honest. It’s always a funny random intro and then the fathering takes are kind of all over the place from the birth process to milestones to day to day. I’ve heard a lot (through 75 podcasts) of topics I’ve never thought of such as what to pack going to the hospital, what your wife needs after delivering, and how many diapers you really need! It’s cool hearing parenting perspective from the eyes of dads. You get to hear the great, the exciting, and the very real struggle it can be raising a little human. They don’t take themselves too serious and they are open about their experiences. Highly recommend listening if you find yourself expecting.

One of the best podcast I’ve listened to , super relatable I’m 32 and soon to be a young dad , it’s helpful listening to both of your experiences and journey you guys have been appreciate the advice keep up the great work

Joe and Jared are quite comical. They provide great fatherly advice and give insight on their days with their tiny crotch goblins also known as children. As a mother myself, I think that terminology is okay to use. But on a serious note, listening to these two every week is certainly a highlight and they are quite the duo. They keep it fun, serious, lighthearted and boozy. The best kind of parenting podcast if you ask me. Thanks dads.

I found this podcast looking for ‘new dad’ podcasts. I was surprisingly hooked by their friendly banter. It’s been a fun journey hearing about their parenting journeys, friendship, and just listening as the show evolved. The guys have definitely found their rhythm. None of my close guy friends are having kids right now, Joe and Jared definitely helped filling that void. Cheers guys! Keep the content coming.
