Stuck In A Foreign Country with Meg Spearman

OOF...it's been a while...but we're back! This week Alyson talks with her dear, hometown bestie Meg Spearman. Meg is from Clemson, SC like Alyson, but she currently lives in The Big Apple--New York City. She is an incredible singer/songwriter with the biggest heart imaginable. This week, the girls talk about everything from throwing up in a mask to getting stranded in a foreign country to a surprise trip gone awry. This week, Alyson talks with one of her old, college roommates, Anna Zeberlein! Anna and Alyson met in the Fall of 2014 through their sorority Phi Mu (LIOB!). She now lives in Chicago, IL working at a Catcade (an arcade feat. adoptable cats...does it get better than that?!). The girls talk about how nuts "College Aly and Anna" were. They cover everything from a silent, trash stand-off in their house to cleaning up after their massive parties...including the one where the cops came...oof. ALYSON'S GAL IS ON THE POD!! One of Alyson's BEST friends, Chelsea Anderson, marks the first ever FaceTime podcast! Since a lot of Alyson's friends are scattered all over the country, the FaceTime podcast was inevitable, but Chelsea as a first try? Easy choice. The gals met in Charleston, SC where Chelsea still lives. They were random, short-term roommates that turned into the best of gals in just under 3 months. Chelsea and Alyson focus on "oof stories" that they experienced together. From meeting Chelsea's s****y, now ex for the first time to getting...we'll call it "overwhelmed" in Colorado to getting lost in Alyson's own hometown--the gals cover it all. This week, Alyson catches up with one of her best friends, Megan Dunn. Megan and Alyson met at the College of Charleston in 2015, but Megan now lives in Nashville where she is working in Country Radio. If you know Alyson at all, you know that she severely broke her leg in March of 2017 while with Megan...and now you get to hear about that harrowing day from Megan's perspective. From falling down the stairs in a parking deck to waiting 4 hours in the hallway of the ER, Megan was there for it all. The girls also reminisce about college and some of Megan's biggest oof moments...including the time she may or may not have ruined a Kate Spade purse. Wedding Dress with Alex Jones

This week we talk with Alyson's close friend, Alex Jones (but don't worry...not THAT Alex Jones). Alex and Alyson met in Austin, TX despite attending the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC at the same time. They both moved to Texas in the summer of 2017, and the rest is history! Alex tells us about the time she bought a wedding dress and was dumped in the same day--OOF right? She then goes on to tell us about some more red flags that should have told her a bit sooner that maybe this guy wasn't for her. Despite some technical difficulties, the girls got into everything from Andy Samberg to childhood sexual awakenings to Ariana Grande's pending album so there's a little something for everyone in this episode.
