So much fun to revisit one of my favorite shows
First things first--I'm very glad this podcast exists. Since I don't know a ton of people who watch Venture Bros, it is nice to listen to commentary on the episodes that doesn't belong to myself or my husband. Also, none of the hosts have annoying voices, which is MUCH appreciated. :) I will continue to listen and enjoy. However, the content is just FINE. In the end, it doesn't seem like they bring anything new to the table, and the conversation is pretty forgettable. (Unlike other recap podcasts that I listen to, I don't feel like learn anything or feel the urge to share tidbits with friends after) I don't mean to insult anyone, this is just my two cents. Thank you for facilitating this podcast, guys!
You will hear those words a lot. “It’s fine,” or “I did not care for this episode” are said about most Episodes that don’t feature Hank. For guys who love the Venture Brothers they don’t really like a lot of the show or just think it’s fine.
Each episodes of the podcast are pretty short around 30-45 minutes, which is fine but don’t think that they will go in-depth into the lore of they show. Basically they generally cover what each episode is about and talk about there problems with that episode or what they like about it.
After into and promoting of other shows you will get about 20-25 minutes of talking about The Venture Brothers.
The personalities are fine. A little awkward but there is a charm to that. This is not a bad podcast it is just not a great podcast.
It is fine.
Invigorating and introspective
I enjoy this show so much! It goes into the details of each episode, and discusses things I may not have thought of. I’m super excited for it to continue all the way through season 7. These guys are doing a great job; funny and sincere. Thanks so much:)
