In this episode, Dex and Summer discuss the 2007 cult horror Teeth, about a high school girl who realizes she has a terrifying (but pretty helpful) adaptation. Let's explore some genital horror and analyze this narrative as a coming of age story, a rape revenge story, and a modern interpretation of a classic Greek myth. We'll share our thoughts on purity culture and agency and why this terrible movie is so compelling to a generation of people who grew up in a sex-negative age.
