    Hello and welcome to episode one of the bit:cast podcast. The unofficial podcast for micro:bit makers and tech enthusiasts. For our first episode, we’re excited to be joined by Giles Booth, Education content manager of the micro:bit Educational Foundation to talk about the latest developments in the micro:bit ecosystem and the process that went on behind creating them. Lots more micro:bit tutorials coming soon now that the website looks a bit nicer. Yesterday I played around with the Pi Supply LoRa micro:bit kit as part of an ARM project I am doing. See Arm Gen2z Producing some EduBlocks video tutorials with OBS. Really easy to do and requires no editing. Giles: With schools closing, we’ve all been adapting to new ways of working, I now have 2 teenagers and a university student at home, all have been given work to get on with, even my son whose A-Levels seem to have been cancelled!     Welcome to the bit:cast podcast - a brand new unofficial podcast for micro:bit makers.  Brought to you by the micro:mag team. Presented by Joshua Lowe & Kerry Kidd. In this new podcast we aim to cover the latest micro:bit news, projects as well as interviewing members of the micro:bit tech community. When putting together the magazine, there are so many things that we would like to include. However, we simply just do not have the space in the magazine to fit it all in. That is where the bit:cast podcast comes in. We want to create a podcast that is fun to listen to and enjoyable for all members of the micro:bit community. The podcast will be split up into four different sections: Our fortnight in micro:bit The News Deep Dive Topic Feedback/Announcements  We’re really looking forward to hearing your feedback about our new adventure and we look forward to learning more about the world of podcasting.
