A Crow’s Perspective

So I’m hanging out with my Murder - don’t call it a flock - and they say to me, “Hey! Clarence! Why are you always hopping around with those AirPods in?” If you know anything about crows, you know we have this thing for analyzing and memorizing human faces. We also take every opportunity to share that knowledge with other crows. We also like shiny objects, trinkets, doodads and baubles - that could be ravens, but I can’t tell the difference between us and ravens.

Anyways, so I tell these birds about Joe Zimmerman and Tom Cowell. Both have faces you can trust, although Tom’s face to a lesser extent - you can tell he’s always analyzing and judging you. It’s the kind of face that probably went to a fancy college and has an irritatingly large vocabulary leading to strong opinions on everything... but he’s wicked smaht. Joe has kind, magnificent eyes - probably the same eyes that God would have if His weren’t the Apple logo apple. Joe’s laugh is sincere and infectious.

Oh yeah, so their podcast is as close to radio broadcasting perfection that I’ve ever heard. It’s a balance of Joe’s innocent naïveté with Tom’s Wikipedia-esque knowledge that is sure to tickle your “how do I stop my inner dialogue while cleaning the house” desperations.

I mean, “CAW! CAW!”.

Keeping me entertained during the crisis

I’ve been listening for three-plus months now, and I can say with complete confidence that this is the funniest, and most entertaining podcast I have ever listened to. I had been listening to Joe Zimmerman’s “Smiling at Wolves” and “Innocence” albums for a while before finding this, and it feels like another collection of comedy bits. Anyone would like this podcast, and I’m sure of that. Thanks for a great listening experience!

Great podcast!

I’m clearly I’m one of the “Greats” because I now listen to EVERY podcast that JZ (not to be confused with Jay-z) puts out. Entertaining and sometimes informative. Keep it up!
