Exploring Kink with Goddess Bria *Classic*

Your favorite show is on a mid season break (we already miss you too). Today we're revisiting our conversation which served as our crash course into BDSM with our friend Goddess Bria.

We would try to explain what happens over the course of this conversation but you wouldn't believe us if we did, so just press play and if you have kids around you might want to put airpods in or be ready to explain what scat play is.

Music you hear at the top and bottom of the show is all by @unstoppablebuddha

Editing, Production, and Vibes by @hughzeau

    As usual, BMAS FUBU IYKYK

Keenan Scott II, talks Art, Family, and Set Backs

Keenan Scott II, talks Art, Family, and Set Backs

On our mid season finale we sit down for an extended conversation, with friend of the show, Keenan Scott II, who is a playwright, poet, actor, director, and producer of original work from Queens, New York. We discuss how he went from being a shy kid unable to remember his words at a DC open mic to now being one of seven Black playwrights leading the reopening of Broadway this fall (yeah, that Broadway).

This episode is for anyone that has experienced failure, rejection and set backs of any kind; Keenan shows that when doors don't open for you, it might just be time to build a new house (in the middle of NYC). A moment that has now been over 10 years in the making ‘Thoughts of a Colored Man’ makes its debut at the Golden Theater this Friday, Oct 1st. Under normal circumstances Buddha and the Beard would be scalping tickets out front but since this is the homie, you can grab your tickets here https://thoughtsofacoloredman.com/

We finally have an episode this season we can share with our moms, but if you need content for your inner Hugh (and pre pandemic Buddha) feel free to catch up with our recent Back-burner episode. As usual each and every episode of BMAS is FUBU, IYKYK.

    Backburner Relationships

    Backburner Relationships

Apparently 50% of people in relationships have one person they're keeping warm in case their relationship ends. Think about it, that means either you or your significant other has your potential replacement on standby. Let us all join in our newfound ain't shit-ness and process by letting us break down back burner relationships for you.

Breadcrumbing? Im Sorry You Feel That Way.

Breadcrumbing? Im Sorry You Feel That Way.

On what is possibly one of our most 'Aint Shit' episodes of BMAS(?!) in a while we discuss the topic of breadcrumbing, Buddha's younger self's social ladder theory, we absolutely butchered pronouns (sigh, bear with us) and finally we ask the question ' WHAT THE FU*K is wrong with Hugh?' (still, no answers).

Thank you for the listener conversation that inspired this episode. If you or a loved one has suffered at the hands of 'aint shit-ness' feel free to slide in our DMs on IG @buddhaandthebeard and maybe we'll break it down in a future episode.

    Last but not least, credits...

Music played at the top and bottom of every show is by BMAS host, Unstoppable Buddha.

    Serial Stroker

    Serial Stroker

Did you know that roughly 500 to 1,000 Americans die yearly due to masturbation related incidents? Neither did I until I googled it, so that number might not be completely accurate, but I digress.

In this weeks mini episode we discuss a person that suffered a near death experience at the hands of their own hands...(i'm sorry I had to do it).

Make sure you like, follow and subscribe wherever you listen.

    The Pursuit: C.R.E.A.M?

In today's episode we talk about pursuiting dreams (i know, we'll dive back into aint shit-ness next week) . No, we don't have all the answers but this isn't about that. We do discuss the ways happiness, depression, anxiety, acceptance and more have been involved in our own individual journeys. Follow us @buddhaandthebeard on IG

Diva with Depression ,

Awesome and Refreshing!

Hearing two brothers sharing their lives and stories is refreshing. As a mental health advocate, the depression episode was much needed. Keep up the great work. Love and blessings.
