Disturbingly Sadistic but Vital

Although it’s a difficult story to hear, it’s someone’s reality. Regardless of the intent behind the storytelling, the old saying of “never judge a man until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes” was instilled again for me. So much of our lives and perceptions of self-worth can be traced back to adolescence when we had little to no control over the events, nor the ability to make sense of why they were happening. This story serves as a great wake-up call of how good intentions can lead to grave outcomes. But before you cast judgment and condemn the followers for their blind faith, I challenge the listener to finish the podcast in it’s entirety. Because you’ll miss the opportunity to see the painfully beautiful lesson on bravery and courage.

Well done

This was well put together especially considering the amount of data. What an insane story. Definitely worth listening to. Those poor kids.
